This wine is assembled exclusively for the ¡Salud! auction and showcases the vibrant, complex wines from our corner of the Chehalem Mountains, specifically our Quarter Mile Lane Vineyard. Adelsheim’s first vineyard planting, Quarter Mile Lane represents the inception of the Adelsheim story, and, more broadly, the evolution of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir on the global stage. This south-facing site is planted at 680’ elevation on deep volcanic soils. Winemaker Gina Hennen has selected Block 1 at 50 years old, and Block 16 (planted from cuttings of block 1) at 15 years old. A viticultural juxtaposition merging history, legacy and modernity.
