The 2024 ¡Salud! Cuvée Pinot Noir comes, as always, from things within the context of the vintage that were meaningful to us. 25 years after purchasing this property, the 3-acre block of Wadensvil Clone Pinot Noir, is one of our top stand-alone blocks within our Estate vineyard. To honor the history of this quarter century, we selected a single new barrel from this block as our ¡Salud! Cuvée.
Aging:
The fruit was fermented with 40% whole clusters to strengthen the structural components that are the hallmark of Ribbon Ridge wines. This is a beautiful and haunting wine that will easily last over two decades but will also be delicious in the here and now.
