Vintage Notes:
After a warm spring and a balanced summer, the grapes were beautiful and almost ripe then we had to juggle between rainfalls during the harvest. Requiring a meticulous sorting, the grapes had a good and dynamic fermentation, revealing complex wines with delicate aromas. – Guillaume Large, winemaker
Vineyards:
Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir – Yamhill-Carlton AVA – Certified Organic
Aging:
Barrel, French Oak
Winemaking:
Using the experience of Maison Louis Jadot, founded in 1859 in Burgundy, our goal is to produce expressive Pinot Noir wines with an identity, a personality. We picked the grapes by hand at a perfect ripeness, we made a long maceration after a meticulous sorting, then we racked the wine in French oak barrel to age and reveal the complexity of the old own-rooted Pinot Noir (planted from 1981) and the minerality of the ancient marine-sedimentary soil of Résonance Vineyard.
