Vineyard:
Planted in 1995 to 10-acres each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Stoller Family Estate is home to the largest contiguous vineyard in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA. Our property spans 400 acres of volcanic soils, with 225 acres dedicated to growing vines at elevations ranging from 220 to 640 feet.
Wine Notes:
This Pinot Noir celebrates the clonal marriage of the old and new world as expressed on our estate. We harnessed the power of the California Heritage clones with the elegance of the Dijon clones traditionally from Burgundy. Its vibrancy is the harmony of its sense of place and the philosophy in which it is made.
Aging:
The wine spent approximately 11 months in 35% new French oak before blending. It was then returned to neutral French oak barrels for another four months to marry together before bottling.
